I understand how you feel. I have felt I should have a blog simply because I am journalist by training, mar/com professional and a writer at heart, but I have never been able to maintain one despite how easy it is to set one up. I can't rant on demand and who cares about my opinion anyway.

My friends can connect to me on Facebook or by going out for a beer and my photos on are Flickr (perhaps you could make it a photography blog).

The Web is already littered with abandoned blogs, so don't worry about it. I don't think one more will break the Internet.
